On november the 18th I went, finally!, with two friends to visit Quilt Art, the patchwork shop in A Coruña, owned by Neus and Tere. That morning it was only Tere who was there and I spent a good time talking to her and admiring the beautiful quilts they have there and all the things they sell, from which I brought a "little" part that you can see here. It was a great time there!
On november the 18th I went, finally!, with two friends to visit Quilt Art, the patchwork shop in A Coruña, owned by Neus and Tere. I brought a colection of nice fabrics for my Dear Jane, some Tilda buttons, other buttons and the handles for the Born to Quilt bag (that I still did not start with, what a mess!), a marker to draw on the fabric, small pins for appliqué, adhesive spray to stick the fabric to the batting and some silicon protectors for the fingers when you are hand-quilting that do not appear in the photo because I had already kept them when I took the picture.
And this incredible book by Yoko Saito that was so eager to find! It has beautiful projects and it is the one that Neus was using to design the houses that she is putting in her project of a headboard for a bed, as I understood, that is turning out great. You can see it in her blog here.
